Description

This presentation focuses on the unique role and value of genetic counselors in the diagnosis of FASD.  Two different clinical approaches will be discussed; a medical genetics clinic utilizing the 4-digit FASD diagnostic code, and an interdisciplinary clinic evaluating for ND-PAE (neurobehavioral disorder associated with prenatal alcohol exposure) with referral to genetics as needed.
